How long does it take a skin boil to heal?

I have a boil of my chin, and i was wondering how long it takes to completely heal? Thanks

I have had them on my legs and I would say once it drains it is pretty much completely healed, like just a little scar left, within a week. If you don’t get it to drain somehow though it can stick around for quite a while.
